NCAA Tournament Day 1 – Thursday, March 21^st

Check-in – 8:00 am to 8:30am

General doors open – 10:00am

• Tip off of 1^st game – 12:15pm
• Tip off of 2^nd game – 2:45pm

Check-in – 5:00pm to 5:30pm

• Tip off of 3^rd game – 6:50pm
• Tip off of 4^th game – 9:20pm

Estimated end time – 11:30pm

Estimated attendance – 32k to 35k (throughout the day)

GENTLE REMINDERS:

1. No hornets gear allowed to be working by building staff for Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday’s event. This included hats/t-shirts/polo’s etc.
2. Please ensure that all volunteers are wearing all black pants and solid black shoes when working events! Volunteers will be sent home if they are not in proper dress code.
3. Please remind your group that volunteers are to open all cans and bottles prior to handing a guest their alcoholic beverage.
4. Please remind your volunteers that they need to be in their stands no later than 9:30am (or have at least 1 person in the stand for smaller stands during the Hornets walk)

Information for new volunteers (thank you, Brent, for this information!): 

Parking is cheaper at 350 E. Sixth St. (I don't know how this will work since it's a work day for uptown businesses and banks; I hope it works out for y'all!!)

This parking deck is directly across the street from the employee entrance. 

The arrow is the door where you will enter. 

You do not need a clear bag. Security will look through your bag. Considering this is literally a full day event (longer than I've ever volunteered!), this is a huge deal!! Bring the bag! Bring goodies to eat! Bring a cup to fill your drinks!!! 

When you go in, go left. You will see a desk where Levy employees will be sitting for you to check in. You will receive your shirt and meal ticket there. 

Make sure you have your black non-slip shoes, your black pants, and black hat/visor!
